Berlin Science Week
Berlin Science Week, running from 1 to 10 November, brings science out of the institutions and into the city. For ten days, with hundreds of free events in German and English, Berlin is transformed into a playground for scientific ideas. Experience cutting-edge research first-hand, take part in open discussions with experts and discover how science shapes the world around us. The MuseumsMeileMitte is taking part with events at the Berlin Museum of the History of Medicine, the Futurium and the Natural History Museum. And the festival centre, at the House of World Cultures, is just a stone’s throw away.
Festival Theme 2026: In Touch
Science is personal. It’s a collective adventure: an expression of the deeply human pursuit of knowledge. With this year’s festival theme, In Touch, Berlin Science Week 2026 focuses on the personal side of science: how research touches and improves our lives, affects the people behind it, and connects us with one another. The 2026 programme is organised into seven event tracks, each one a different point of contact between research and everyday life.
